Storage Messages - Hosted Solutions Only

The following article only applies to DocMoto hosted (Cloud) systems

Disk usage for DocMoto hosted systems is constantly monitored for your protection.

In the event your disk is running low on space you will see the following message when users log in:

Your system is running low on storage space.

To increase your storage contact sales@chlsoftware.com.

If you do not want to increase your storage you can make space by moving unwanted files to the DocMoto trash bin and then emptying the trash. Space does not become free until the trash is emptied. Once files have been removed from trash they cannot be recovered so you may want to download them first.

N.B. If action is taken to remove files this message will be displayed each time a user logs in until the system has been reset. Generally it takes up to 12 hours for this to happen. If you require this period to be sooner please contact support@chlsoftware.com. If no action is taken to reduce disk usage this message will continue to be displayed until either you do remove files or the disk size continues to increase, in which case the system will become read only when it reaches a critical level.

When the system does reach a critical level you will see the following message when users log in:

You have used all your available DocMoto storage and cannot add new files.

To increase your storage contact sales@chlsoftware.com.

If you do not want to increase your storage you must make space by deleting files. If necessary first download any unwanted files from DocMoto to a safe place and then delete them from DocMoto. Files will not be placed in your DocMoto trash bin during this time so they cannot be recovered.

Once you have made space your system will require a reset before it can allow files to be added. Systems are reset on a cyclic basis and it make take up to 12 hours before your system will allow the addition of files.
